A type of tactical full face mask and piece of armor that is used to protect the wearer's face from high velocity impacts such as bullets and other projectiles. Essentially a bulletproof vest for the face. Usually held in place via straps. Ballistic masks are usually thick and solid with only a pair of holes or for the eyes to see through. Said eye holes are usually capped with impact resistant translucent materials such as Bulletproof glass.
