cannibalism
Cannibalism is the act of consuming one's own species.
The content under this tag can vary in tone, ranging from comedic (e.g. an anthro cow eating a burger, or a food creature taking a bite out of another of its own species), to fetishistic, to horrific and realistically gory.
The term is often associated with cooking with furs content due to the real world implications of cannibalism, however, this tag applies to same-species vore as well.
Tagging Notes
- Cannibalism is often overtagged for posts that should instead only be tagged as cooking with furs
- Unless there is a character preparing to cook and eat a character of the same species, it should not be tagged as cannibalism
- Cannibalism is undertagged for posts featuring non-hard vore; in the vore community, "cannibalism" is often exclusively associated with cooking and eating a living creature alive, regardless of the species of both the predator and prey
- If a vore scenario is intraspecies, the cannibalism tag is appropriate to use
