Lunar Frost is a fan-made character originally made by Sunpharaoh on DeviantArt, shortly following a soft launch of Plants vs. Zombies: Heroes on March 10th 2016, the artist would create a mirrored version of Solar Flare, but keeping the gender the same.

The artist would have their Deviant art inactive since 2021, however another user around 2019 started using the character as their profile pictures and name on the internet, and making a change for the character's gender to be male to fit their standards and make it so the character is fully mirrored with Solar Flare.
