The Ring is a horror movie popularized by the antagonist Sadako Yamamura who crawls out of screens. In 2024, X user @waziot posted a photo of a TV mounted on a very high ceiling and suggested that if she were to crawl out of that screen, she would break her neck. This spawned a meme of drawing her or other characters attempting to climb out of that TV.
