Whis (ウイス Uisu) is the attendant and trainer of Beerus, God of Destruction of Universe 7.

Whis is a tall, thin humanoid with pale blue skin, white hair, violet eyes, and rather effeminate features. He owns a long scepter with a gem that floats above it and is usually seen holding it in his right hand. Around his neck floats a large light blue ring. Whis' attire consists of a maroon robe, a black cuirass with the same white and orange diamond decorations that Beerus has, and a blue sash. He also wears black high-heeled shoes with long toes resembling winklepickers with white spats.

He is currently training Goku, Vegeta, and Broly to master their newfound godhood. He is the strongest being in Universe 7. Whis is one of 13 angels who each serve the God of Destruction of their respective universe (with the exception of their youngest brother Merus). Their father is The Grand Minister who is stronger than all of them and the servant of the omni-king.

Whis has a calm, aloof, peaceful personality, but is absent-minded with a somewhat effeminate nature at times. Very eccentric, his priorities can often seem exceedingly trivial.

The full power of Whis is currently unknown beyond the fact that he appears to have the ability to manipulate time in a number of ways.
