montrals (anatomy)

Montrals are a type of hard hollow horns that protrude from the heads of Togrutas and Kessurians. These pairs of sensory organs function in tandem with the humanoid pointy ears of the Kessurians and hidden earholes of Togrutas to provide an advanced spatial awareness beyond the average human.

In the case of Togruta with their pseudo hair appearance, the hard tissue of their montrals transition into the fleshy flexible lekku.
