March 28 is Wear a Hat Day, created by the Brain Tumor Research Foundation in the UK to have a little fun by wearing a hat as well as support those unfortunate enough to have to deal with brain tumors (and thus need to wear hats to help cover the surgeries required). The day has proven popular enough to have spun off two other days, Wear a Hat with Flowers Day in June and Wear a Christmas Hat Day in December.
