june (month)
June is the sixth month of the Julian and Gregorian calendars, lasting for 30 days. In the Northern Hemisphere, June is the month of the summer solstice and in the Southern Hemisphere, the month of the winter solstice. It is named after Juno, Roman queen of the gods. Its birthstone is the pearl, moonstone, and alexandrite, and its flowers are the rose and honeysuckle.
