An enemy from The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. A Gloom Spawn is an animated puddle of Gloom that forms five hands that will attempt to grab their prey, each with an eye in the palm. Its very touch can drain life, temporarily reducing Link's total available hearts, and it's not always obvious where the spawn is until it rises up out of the ground, accompanied by the music changing and the sky turning blood red like during a Blood Moon.
