Coremata, singularly referred to as corema, are distinctive anatomical features observed in male moths. These structures, which are both eversible and inflatable, are internally stored and unfurl to expose the hair-pencils contained within.

The sole function of coremata is the dispersal of pheromones, and they should not be misconstrued with the reproductive organ, the penis, which serves the purpose of delivering sperm. However, artistic liberties and TWYS should be taken into account; if an image depicts a creature ejaculating from or using a corema for penetration, it should still be tagged with penis for search purposes.
