A character verbally threatening to eat the viewer, or another character.
A "threat of vore" may be a directly stated threat — what the character is going to do to the target, it can also be a question or suggestion that carries the threat. The threat may be more indirect, threatening the target with what will happen if/when they are consumed.
While threatening vore usually carries an implied death threat — the process of being consumed will end with the threatened character dead. The death threat tag should ideally be avoided unless there's a specific reference to the threatened character dying or being dead in some way.
Examples
- Direct Threats
- "I'm going to eat you"
- "I'm going to enjoy swallowing you down"
- "You're Next" (with content of the scene making it clear the character intends to eat whoever they're threatening)
- Indirect Threats
- "Looks like I found dessert"
- "how about you get familiar with your new home" (referencing their belly)
- "You're making me hungry"
- Some threats are direct in implication, but indirect in wording — usually when describing what will happen to the character after they've been consumed
- "I'm going to enjoy shitting you out"
- "Enjoy being fat on my ass"
- "You'll look nice churned into cum"
This may be combined with the character's stomach rumbling, or presenting their open mouth, threatening vore is also seen in after vore circumstances, where after consuming another character, the predator threatens the viewer or a third character.
