pump site

The area where an insulin pump delivers insulin to the user, the user can unattach the pump from the pump site to shower or do other activities in which having the pump may be impractical

It is typically depicted as a small round bandage with a device in the center in which the pump attaches to.

It is typicalt located anywhere on the body where a person would normally inject insulin. The most commonly used site areas are the abdomen, upper buttocks, hips, upper arms, and upper legs.
