Facial hair is a word used to describe the hair that grows on the lower part of the face (cheeks, around the mouth, chin etc…)
It's a secondary sexual characteristic found mainly in males.

Facial hair appears late in puberty:

• On the lower lip, around age 15 (in human years)
• On the cheeks and chin, around age 16 (in human years)

For Tagging Purposes

① This tag is used to describe ALL types of facial hair (beard, goatee, mustache etc…)
② Eyebrows and eyelashes are NOT considered to be included as “facial hair”
③ Fur and manes (usually) only apply with “facial hair” when they are emulating human growth patterns
