Lore: grandchild (lore)
A grandchild is the third (or possibly more) generation child to a family that spans more than two relative generations.
This tag probably should be used when a grandparent is also present.
Generation relations
- great grandparent - 0th (parent of grandparent; this naming convention continues for each generation before this)
- grandparent - 1st (parent to a child who also has children)
- parent - 2nd (child of grandparent)
- grandchild - 3rd (child of parent, grandchild of grandparent)
- great grandchild - 4th (child of grandchild; this naming convention continues for each generation after this)
