This tag is useful in distinguishing who is the "giver" and who is the "receiver" of being rimmed in a post tagged male/female rimming. While most posts involving male/female rimming involve a male character rimming a female character, this tag is less often used as the scenario is far more common than the reverse.

As with rimming in general, this can be performed in a variety of poses, and be as a result of stinkface, facesitting, or butt smothering, and/or can be a part of butt worship. Rimming can be a part of a character dominating another — most often this involves a dominant female pinning or restraining the male character and having him perform anilingus on her, less commonly this can involve a dominant male character rimming a submissive female character.
