A post that mainly serves to promote a real life product, service, or event. This tag can be used even if the promotion is not evident in the post itself.

An example of this is when an artist posts a short version of a video and advertises the full version on their Patreon in the description.

Not to be confused with the advertisement tag, which is for promotions, both in-universe and out, that are in the video or image. It can be used alongside this tag if appropriate, however.

Important!

Acceptable advertisements are those with artistic and entertainment value that far outweighs their nature to sell goods or services.
Advertisements that only advertise goods and services are not acceptable, are almost certainly going to be deleted.

• Advertising Patreon or paysite in the form of a signature on an image is perfectly fine.
• Advertising Patreon or paysite of the artist in the description of art they have created is also perfectly fine.
