Ortolans are a species of elephant-like sapient bipedal blue-skinned aliens from the Star Wars franchise. Max Rebo is the only notable member of this species appearing in the films.
Rebo's original design in Return of the Jedi was intended as a two-limbed alien; however, since then various depictions of him and other Ortolans as having 4 limbs have led to both designs being debatably canonical.

Ortolan is also the name of a species of bunting.
