A hotbox is a slang term for a small, airtight room or vehicle used for smoking narcotics such as tobacco or Marijuana. Because the exhaled smoke or the smoke from the joints are unable to escape the chamber, it circulates in and around the room, maximizing the drug use and ensuring none of it goes to waste. Typically this will require multiple smokers or a large quantity of leaves to burn. The result is often a more intense experience that causes individuals to become and remain high quicker and for longer periods of time.
