Expedition is a book written by Wayne Douglas Barlowe. It documents the fictional expedition of a planet known as Darwin IV and a cataloging of it's ecosystems, showcasing a myriad of unique animals. A TV adaptation known as Alien Planet was made using many of the same creatures.
