Winter Sprites are a race of elf-like creatures from Them's Fightin' Herds that reside in The Tundra. They are extremely strange in the world of Fœnum, being the only sentient creatures who walk on two legs, and no one really knows where they come from. But one thing everyone knows for certain is that they have an odd, obsessive fascination with reindeer, and the Deerfolk are only too happy to indulge them.

The Winter Sprites have formed a special symbiotic relationship with the Deerfolk, and helped them build their city of Reine. They also provide the reindeer with special magical oats that give them the ability to use Winter Magic. The Sprites also treat the deer like pets without actually owning them, and the deer treat the sprites like servants, except without actually ever bossing them around. In a way, it is a win-win: the Sprites are happy and entertained, while the deer live a life of privilege and luxury.

All of the sprites have light blue skin, big blue eyes, and humanoid pointy ears. They also wear winter coats which hide their legs, and hats, with various colors and ornaments.
