Oleander is a female unicorn and the self-proclaimed champion of The Woodlands. She serves as one of the main characters of Them's Fightin' Herds and is part of the original roster, with her gameplay filling the role of an all-rounder. As the main magic-user, she is an expy of MLP's Twilight Sparkle.

She also wields a book of dark magic called the Unicornomicon that holds a dark, sapient entity named FHTNG (also known as Fred). Oleander comes off as snarky and arrogant, but believes dark magic can be used for good and is determined to prove it.

Her coat used to be pure white, but after being cursed from reading the Unicornomicon, she now has gray fur, black hair with a matching tail tipped with pink highlights, and purple hooves. The only thing remaining from her original color scheme is her blue eyes.
