shoulderless shirt
A shirt with a completely open neckline, exposing the wearer's shoulders. A shoulderless shirt will have sleeves like a normal shirt.
Not to be confused with:
- Shoulderless shirts are sometimes called "off-the-shoulder" shirts, but should not be confused with off shoulder.
- shoulder cutout — when a top covers the neckline as a normal shirt would, but with cutout vents exposing the shoulders
- halter top — these are inherently shoulder-less but cover the wearer's neck
