partially inside
A character has enough of their body inside of an orifice (or more creative ways) to be considered more than just penetrating that character, but not enough to be fully inside. For tagging purposes, even a limb hanging out qualifies towards this tag.
This mainly targets vore themes, but birthing, and living insertion themes may also apply.
Editor's notes
This concept could be expanded to apply to more than just bodies, and a partially_inside_body tag be used as a subconcept. For now, it exclusively applies to bodies.

General guidelines
- This is not intended to be used for typical penetration themes.
- The character going in, or out shouldn't matter.
- This tag may also apply to animations as long as the transition isn't instantaneous, skipped over, there is some contact with the predator while going inside. For animations, the best usage is when entering inside is a focal point, slow and deliberate, the character is held in place at least for a moment.
- Vore, and obvious body insertion themes may get more leeway in terms of how much of the body should be inside to qualify. For instance, this tag wouldn't involve tail sex, but a prey being consumed tail first may qualify towards this tag.
- The prey being dead probably doesn't matter. There should probably be more than just bones, severed limbs. If the prey is inside, but in pieces, such as in hard vore, it probably still makes sense to use this tag. The character should still be partway hanging out of the body.
Special cases
barely_inside - The case where the character is only slightly inside, such as when only a head has been swallowed.
almost_fully_inside - The case where the character is almost fully inside the other one.
Not to be confused with
fully_inside - When the character is completely in the other one. (It doesn't count as partially_inside.)
imminent_vore - When a character will (or probably would) go in another character but isn't partially in it yet.
