soda
A soft drink, also known as soda, pop, seltzer, soda pop, tonic, fizzy drink, and several other terms, is a beverage that typically contains water (often, but not always, carbonated water), usually a sweetener and usually a flavoring agent. They're called "soft" to contrast them with "hard" alcoholic beverages.
