An e621 milestone refers to a post ID that marks a significant checkpoint in the site's history, such as the site's ten thousandth or millionth post. Higher post numbers are more recent.

Note that post IDs #1-12 do not exist. post #13 is the official first post. A milestone's post ID equals the milestone number plus 12, as in the following:

10000th post > 10000 + 12 = post #10012
