A prehensile penis is a penis with the ability to grasp and hold other objects.

This feature has been seen somewhat in tapirs, and there have been claims of this in dolphins and elephants as well, but the true extent of this grasping ability in the wild is debatable. In art, prehensility is most commonly expressed through cetacean penises, and will also be found on other species such as dragons and other scalies in this form, particularly if they are aquatic-themed characters. Marsupial penises will occasionally show this ability, too, but realistically any character with a tapered penis could conceivably act like a tentacle.

For tagging purposes, only a penis that is actively demonstrating this ability qualifies for this tag -- a curved penis is insufficient. For example:

• coiling around another body
• displaying a high level of unassisted dexterity, without necessarily holding an object
• has extremities for grasping, like tentacles, fingers, and some instances of penis maw
