Akari (ショウ Shō) is the female protagonist character of Pokémon Legends: Arceus, acting as either the game's playable character if she is chosen, or as a rival to the playable character if her counterpart Rei is chosen. As the protagonist, she is sent back in time to Hisui by Arceus, given the mission to seek out all Pokémon living in the region. As a non-playable character, Akari works as an assistant to Professor Laventon who assists the player and challenges them to battles.
