A dispenser is a device that releases a product or substance when activated. Common examples of dispensers include the soap, and paper towel dispensers found in most public restrooms, the taps that dispense beverages at bars, and restaurants, and any bottle that contains a dispenser nozzle (the kind that needs to be depressed in order to release the contents inside of the bottle). A vending machine is also a type of dispenser.
