Pereiopods are the pereion-bound limbs of cephalothorax-bearing arthropods, or in other words: (mostly crustaceans) which have a cephalothorax (many decapods, including i.e. lobsters), later have a pereion (~thorax) and a pleon (~abdomen) - the limbs on the pereion are pereiopods.
