narration
A narration is a story, or sequence of events told through the perspective of a character, or a narrator. A narration may be told to the viewer, or to one or more characters in the scene. A narration does not need to provide a complete detailing or events, and may even be a partial description of an event, or sequence of events.
Not to be confused with
- story - The story tag mainly applies to illustration artwork as supplementary backstory. The narration tag is more appropriate for comics.
Identifying key concepts
- Descriptions of an event from the perspective of a character outside of the illustrated scene. The words are not attributed to anyone present in the scene.
