A plunging neckline describes a very low-cut neckline on a garment covering the wearer's torso, a deep "V" or "U" shape that exposes the inner sides of the wearer's breasts (or middle of their chest) and parts of their upper body. Some particularly deep plunging necklines will expose the wearer's navel.
