A food cart is a type of vending cart equipped with a mobile kitchen. Unlike food trucks, these smaller carts are designed to be towed around rather than containing their own source of locomotion. These carts can be distinguishable from food trucks due to their smaller size, two-wheel construction, and their closer resemblance to other carts or wagons.

Although this tag is targeted towards vending carts, it is also being used for carts used to transport food items.

• food_service_cart - A service cart that is carrying food items. The difference is that these carts has open shelving in place of a cooking, and refrigeration unit. These carts are the same ones you might see pushed by attendants on a train or airplane.
