S.A.I.L (Ship-based Artificial Intelligence Lattice) is the AI that controls the player's ship computer in Starbound. During Beta, most Sails had unique desings based on the Race of the player. Mods usually include their own version of S.A.I.L, complete with unique desings for the introduced races.
