The 3DO Interactive Multiplayer is a CD-based video game console launched in 1993 by The 3DO Company. The console was manufactured by three companies, originally by Panasonic, followed by the Goldstar 3DO, and then finally the Japan release only Sanyo Try 3DO. A new 3DO console named the Panasonic M2 was planned, but later cancelled. Each model of the 3DO features a distinctive design, but the controllers all share the same rounded design, with a dpad on the left, start and select in the middle, and three action buttons on the right.
