Implied erection describes an image where a male, or gynomorph character is clearly implied to be sexually aroused, but their erect penis is not shown.
Typically, this involves the character covering their crotch, with the obvious context that the character is reacting to an arousing thought or sight, and not from pain, or doing so in an effort to protect or hide their genitals.

This can be also be depicted by various symbols calling attention to the character's off screen, or otherwise obscured groin; or even by a sound effect of the erection hitting a hard object held by or armour worn by the character.
