Dyanasty Warriors is a series of hack and slash video games created by Omega Force and Koei. It is a spinoff of Koei's existing series Romance of the Three Kingdoms. Dynasty Warriors games take place in historical eras, having the player slash their way through hordes of enemies in order to complete assigned mission objectives.

The Dynasty Warriors formula has been utilized to create several crossover games developed by Omega Force. The most recognized crossover game is Hyrule Warriors, a game that mixes the formula of Dynasty Warriors with Nintendo's Legend of Zelda series settings, characters, and enemies. Other franchises include Fire Emblem, and Gundam.
