SCP-2521 is a monstrous humanoid character from the mythos of the SCP Foundation website. Its debut story, SCP-2521 — ●●|●●●●●|●●|● was posted in July 2015 by a writer known as LurkD for the Short Works Contest, a contest with the goal to write an SCP with a wordcount of 500 words or less; LurkD and SCP-2521 — ●●|●●●●●|●●|● won first place with a word count of zero and a score of 202 (more than double second place).
SCP-2521 is an uncontained Keter-class humanoid entity that is highly-classified due to its infohazardous nature. It is taller and broader than the average human, standing about 2.25-meters-tall. It has a black body made out of numerous long interwoven tentacles, ribbons, or similar tendrils with adhesive properties, with loose strands functioning as finger tentacles and flowing pseudo hair. Depending on interpretation, it also has a red heart either in the center of its head or a similar heart-shape for a face/one unusual eye. It is bipedal, walking on stumpy featureless feet, but also capable of intangibility and teleportation.
SCP-2521 is apparently sapient and possesses near-omniscience regarding itself, which is the cause of concern regarding it. From its behavior it is inferred that it is a severe narcissist. SCP-2521 can detect when any written, typed, or verbal description of it is made, upon which it will manifest to take the medium/orator of the description, envelope it/them with its body, and then teleport away to an unknown location. While SCP-2521 is aware and responsive to those mediums, it does not respond to photographic, pictographic, and — expanded upon in other works — allegorical depictions of itself, thus can only be documented visually or through intentionally non-specific language. Due to its abilities, SCP-2521 cannot be physically contained, and can only be classified to restrict appearances; however according to SCP-001 — Ihp/Locke Proposal — Keter Duty, it could be contained by being put into conflict with SCP-INTEGER, another infohazardous SCP object.
While SCP-2521 — ●●|●●●●●|●●|● is told in pictograms to portray SCP-2521's properties, some stories by other authors are told in other methods such as poetry. In these stories and other online discussion, SCP-2521 has been given nicknames such as Narcissus, Tiberius, Ten-Dots, and... Beba?
