An anti-tank weapon designed by the Soviets in 1961. Aside from hand grenades, it is the most-produced hand-held explosive weapon of all time, seeing combat in the hands of every nation the USSR ever allied with- and many others. While it is unable to severely damage modern battle tanks, it remains a fearsome weapon when used against low-flying aircraft, infantry, and light armor.

In media, it is most often seen in the hands of villains, probably because it has been used by nearly every enemy of the West since the Vietnam War.
