Loving Reaper is the collective title given to comics by Jenny Jinya which primarily feature Death in his typical appearance as a sentient human skeleton.

These comics are anti-animal cruelty vignettes, showing the hypothetical life of an animal before it perishes due to human mistreatment or indifference. They often end with a page explaining the form of animal cruelty being spoken against and sometimes offers suggestions on how to counteract it. The Grim Reaper is portrayed sympathetically as a compassionate entity who awaits the deceased animal to comfort them in the afterlife, and is somewhat similar in personality to Death as depicted in the works of Sir Terry Pratchett's Discworld.

The comics are painfully heartbreaking, and you will probably cry.
