The guardian tapu (also known as the guardian deities, guardians, island guardians, land spirits, sacred guardians, or spirit guardians) are Legendary Pokémon in the Alola region who protect the islands where they live. Each of the four main islands in Alola has a guardian deity. They share the same signature move as well as its corresponding Z-Move.
