When a character is pictured in a post grouped together with the entirety of its evolutionary family, regardless of them interacting or not. This applies to any creature in fiction that can have evolutionary families, though this term is mainly seen and used within Pokémon and Digimon contexts.

Not to be confused with

• Evolution (Transformation) - The physical, transformative act of a creature going through a near instant form of evolution, such as digivolution within a Digimon.
