Exactly as implied by the name, this tag is for instances of the Lilo & Stitch franchise's Lilo Pelekai as a genetic experiment. This tag exists as a quick way to mark all instances of an "experiment Lilo"; without it, one would have to use three separate tags (lilo_pelekai, experiment_(lilo_and_stitch), and alternate_species) to search for or blacklist such instances.

It should be noted that Lilo never became an experiment of her own in the franchise's canon—although she and Stitch did swap bodies in the Lilo & Stitch: The Series episode "Swapper"—and considering the current direction of the franchise, most likely never will.

It does not matter if she has an original design or if she's rendered as a "clone" of either Stitch (Experiment 626) or another experiment; as long as the experiment is clearly meant to be Lilo herself, then this tag should be used. This tag also contains "mutant Lilo" posts, where Lilo appears more as a mutated hybrid of her human self and an experiment, Stitch or otherwise (e.g. post #1798948).

Expect a lot of Lilo/Stitch shipping among posts with this tag.
