Explicit tag.
Originally, a term that refers primarily to the recording of real or implied torture, murder, and occassionally, raping a kidnapped victim on film.
Here, it refers to deriving sexual pleasure or arousal from extreme pain, suffering, torture, rape, and murder. This goes far beyond the safe realm of BDSM and may include some forms of gore (disembowelment, decapitation, grotesque deaths, etc.), and often a sexual climax which peaks just before the moment of death.
This tag applies whether it’s the perpetrator or the victim who is aroused; or, in some cases, both. The victim may be participating with or without consent. As long as at least one character is taking sexual gratification from someone being killed, whether it’s their own death or someone else’s, this tag applies.
Note: This tag is only applied when there are one or more characters visibly having sexual pleasure in an extremely deadly situation. Do not tag this simply because the post contains gore and/or death.
