Mooning is the act of displaying one's bare butt by removing clothing, usually by lowering the backside of one's bottomwear and underwear, and often bending over (sometimes also exposing the genitals). Mooning is generally used to express protest or disrespect, but can also be used for provocation, as a form of exhibitionism, or for shock humor.
