Background: Vincent Marquez was born on the sunny beaches of Isla Nueva, Yutanga. He had a normal childhood and performed well enough to pass all his grades. Though able to attend college, Vince decided to stay home and work with his father in order to support the family. He had 5 younger siblings and his parents were already overworked and they could barely keep their home. Once he grew older and most his brothers and sisters went to college, he decided to move away from home and see life outside the tranquil tropical island city. He moved to Cesum Falls, New Church and got a job as a construction worker in a coincidentally named business called “Komodo Konstruction”. He lived meagerly in a small apartment that he could barely afford but he enjoyed his simple life. After a few months he met Borok, when the old bull came into the shop asking for a renovation of his house. Vincent planned and single-handedly helped repair the house for Borok. The two became friends quickly. Shortly afterward, Vincent lost his apartment and was unable to find a new place. Borok intervened and offered the komodo a room in his home, to which Vincent was extremely grateful.

He gets along fairly well with Hendrik and Hoosier. He sees Borok as his mentor and best friend.

He also doesn’t get along with Richter or Jaakob but doesn’t show it. He tends to also just ignore Richter’s obvious displays of challenge.

He has a slight accent somewhat similar to Spanish.

He also enjoys wearing thin shirts and shorts; usually with sandals or no shoes at all.
