yeah i had saved it as you just described, but for some odd reason the colors get washed out, it sticks out the most on renamons head, it goes from a very bright saturated goldish-yellow to a darker more sickly yellow, this may not even be a matter of color, another possibility is that the resolution quality is taking a dip when its downloaded

Personally, I find that the sounds are way too loud. Having no sounds (Or even just faint sounds) but keeping the music would be preferable to me. If he makes it into a flash, hopefully that'll be an option.

@zonkpunch , I guess there's something minor wrong in your video rendering as there are constant stuttering caused by duplicate frames. Maybe frame rate mismatch at some point? (e.g. video is actually 48 FPS, final render 50 FPS) Should just aim directly to 60 FPS as you should technically be able to target infinite frame rates and majority of monitors are 60Hz.

TL;DR: thoughs about puppet animating and complaining about technical error on the file.

Man I didn't notice the stuttering until you mentioned it, its pretty bad yea.. I do animate at 48fps just because the timing is nice, then I render the final version to h.264 because its the most efficient codec (VP8/VP9 turns 12 hours rendering into 24). The drawback is like you deduced, h.264 doesn't support 48fps but 50, and frame blending looks bad. I was avoiding animating at 60fps to lower render times which are already excessive but looks like its inevitable now haha. Thanks for noticing though, I'll be working in 60fps henceforth~

I actually didn't know about that h264 limitation and it sounds really weird considering it's somewhat commonly used frame rate and how widely h264 is used.

There is no real way to tell between a male or a female in a species like this. same goes for a lot of Pokemon. some of them look one gender and it almost seems unfair to tag 99% of the species as that one gender because they just look like it.
