The Blimping Hour

In the odd hours of the morning rubbery creaks and the hiss of air reverberate intensely within the chambers of one Rouge the bat. The source of the noise unfortunately was no gas leak or Rouge suddenly developing an interest in balloons. Instead it was coming from none other than the bat burglar herself.

The clepto bat had been resting in her bed entering in and out of sleep until her midsection began to emit an unusual array of noises accompanied by a bizarre and intense tightness. Then without even a moment for reaction her body began to expand out rapidly with her once manageable middle heading her sudden inflation.

Her arms became stiff and fat, her chest distended and suffocating, her face cartoonishly bloated as her cheeks filled swiftly with air and lastly her belly which blew out to such a ridiculous proportion that it was a mere few feet before pressing its newly rounded and rubbery surface across the ceiling.

Rouge could only squirm in futility as she continued to swell. The pressure was becoming overwhelming as she watched her weather balloon of a belly continue to expand outwards and upwards. Would her swelling cease before bursting like an overinflated parade float or is she doomed to be reduced to bat-confetti?

This was intended to be part of a line of Halloween themed images for last month, but clearly that didn't really happen. The theme here was instead of "The Witching Hour" at 3 am it's instead as the name implies: bloating up suddenly in the middle of the night during sleep(PS a concept I wish people used more). I guess I technically got both sides of the joke considering the other pic I posted.
