i know why you're all here. you want the sexy wolf model that ruaidri made for blender.

it's a very nice model. it's everything you'd expect from a model and rig developed by someone with a half-decade of experience specialized in making furry character models optimized for fast animation and rendering workflows within blender. this isn't his feature list this is my description based on the beta testing:

stylzed fur system optimized for quick rendering in blender's eevee renderer. it is NOT cycles compatible.

clean deforming topology with automatic corrective deformation for unusual poses that you definitely won't need for any particular reason (arms up, legs spread, folded into a pretzel, etc)

organized rig with fk and ik chains, including ik pinning for knees and elbows for innocent use cases like "on my hands and knees working under the sink repairing a leaky faucet" and "help me stepsister"

rotation isolation for torso/spine, head/neck, and tail for fine-grained control

convenience controls for finger/toe posing with just one scale control for clenching/spreading etc

intuitive facial expression controls that even work in poses that imply they have something large and voluminous stuck in their mouth, like a tennis ball or something idk

ball gag, cuffs, and collar accessories that can be quickly toggled via the rig and automatically adjust the appropriate fur systems to avoid clipping

4 high quality textures: "grey wolf", "greyer wolf", "he who haunts the night (greyest grey)", and "polar bear cosplay (greyless grey)" which can all be swapped via the accessories control above.

2 cock variants which i have nicknamed "greg" (humanoid) and "greg2" (knotted)

that being said, it has the following limitations:

it is designed and optimized for animating and rendering in blender eevee. it will render incorrectly in blender cycles because of this bug: https://projects.blender.org/blender/blender/issues/104275 

it is not set up for vrchat. the rig will not work in game engines, including SFM, without significant porting work. the fur system will not work in game engines.

there is no automatic fk-ik snapping system

it will not make you automatically good at animating

personally i enjoyed working with this model very much as the controls are intuitive and everything is optimized. animation was effortless in that the only problems i ran into were caused by my own general blender incompetence.

i was not compensated for the above statements or beta testing and i bought my own copy of the model so i could be as unbiased as possible. i also broke furrydakimakura's site in the process somehow and that delayed the announcement post by like three days. my bad.
