Late Night Mudding
I used to wear like this when I had a good thick and deep mud spot before, minus the backpack. Going to sink after midnight is quiet cold even in the hot and humid climate area. So i get the cheapest wetsuit I could find and it did a very good job making things warm inside and it also prevent leeches getting inside the suit too. Apart from that, a headlamp is a must. Even as a cat, I still need some light to see :P. I use plastic bag to store my phone, wallet and keys and place it near my arm reach if i wanna go deep. Who knows what the worst could happen and when I need outside help asap. Long stick is optional if you are experienced enough to get out without using it but I use it to poke some grasses to make sure there is no snake around. And make sure to have a sturdy stick. You don't wanna accidentally break it when you try to escape ;). Going with a buddy is the safest precaution but my friends are not into this stuff so I had to go solo. I have seen like a snake and monitor lizard throughout my sink so that's my biggest concern. Getting totally mired is the least one X3. Just be safe when you go out in the night :)
