Zoe Trent and Littlest Pet Shop © of Hasbro, but the art and animation is mine; do not steal
AI/NN is like lottery tickets; only for suckers. None was used to create this pic.
It had been three hours since she had done the last show of the evening, three hours since she had last returned to her dressing room to clean herself up; three hours since that new assistant stagehand had cornered her, a knife in one hand and a roll of duct tape in other. He had stuffed her own signature black beret in her mouth to ensure even over the din of patrons leaving and other performers leaving she would not be heard. He wrapped her up shortly and sweetly but precisely; an expert kidnapper. He got the most mileage out of wrapping up her legs; her arms were dainty and less likely to squirm free if he focused mostly on her tightly-crossed wrists. The box that served as a convenient spare space for uniforms and costumes was previously meant for speakers and similar equipment, and so it did the trick to keep her out of sight once she was stashed inside. The captor even took the time to carefully drag it out by the stage to make it look like the many others waiting to be packed up after a big performance; after all, he teased, it would be empty by morning anyways. The theatre was cool after a show, but the box was starting to get a bit stuffy; the thin layer of insulation was more a carpeting layer than real foam, but still enough to keep her comfortable and further muffle her protests and struggles. Even the janitors were not likely to check on the backstage area until the morning, more concerned with the front lobbies and other places that needed to be made presentable by morning. Still, she struggled and fought with whatever brief bursts of strength she could muster, but after three hours, her strength and her hope had worn thin.It was three hours then that she found the harsh orange safety lights of the backstage finally wash over her tired body and pleading face. The man hovering over her was not disguised like her captor was, and he was certainly happy to see her, but Zoe knew full well that the man who opened the box to find her, wrapped up like a present just for him... was most certainly not a friend...Fortunately for him and unfortunately for her, they were likely to have a long time to get acquainted.
Hoo-wee, this was a long time coming. A commission for one of my Patrons and a damn good friend CartoonAnthroTales CartoonAnthroTales that unfortunately got quite delayed by... whatever fresh hell you could call 2024. But it's finally here, finally ready~
I normally don't like doing existing-IP characters, but who am I to refuse a challenge, especially after Lay-Lay turned out so well? And honestly, this was an absolute blast to do, rife with fun little experiments in technique... plus a chance to sneak in a reference from my favourite anime ever~ (Come on, you're telling me I'm the only one who wants to hear Zoe Trent sing Konya wa Hurricane?)
